We’ve structured our web sites so that, in general, you can visit PCS on the web without identifying yourself or revealing any personal information. To make this notice easy to find, we make it available on our homepage and at the bottom of every processcontrolservices.com web page.

This privacy statement applies to all processcontrolservices.com-owned web sites and domains.

Our policy regarding the privacy of your information covers privacy principles consistent with the Fair Information Practices and the U.S. – E.U. Safe Harbor Principles: Notice, Choice, Access and Accuracy, Onward Transfer Security and Oversight (Enforcement).

PCS uses personal information to better understand your needs and interest and provide you with better service. Once you choose to provide us with personal information, you can be assured that it will only be used to support your customer relationship with PCS. We take seriously the trust you place in us. PCS will not sell, rent or lease your personally identifiable information to others.

This privacy statement covers personally identifiable information, anonymous data collection and aggregate reporting. Personally identifiable information is any information that is associated with your name or personal identity. Anonymous (non-personal) information is data about usage and service operation, reported in aggregate, which is not associated to a specific personal identity. Aggregate information is data collected and summarized for a broad category of customers or PCS services.

What we collect

You can order products or services, make information requests, subscribe to marketing or support materials, or register yourself on this web site. The types of personal information you provide to us on these pages may include name, address, phone, email address, user IDs and passwords, billing information, transaction, credit card information and contact preferences.

To personalize our web sites, services or communications and improve our products and services, we may also ask you to provide us with information regarding your personal or professional interests, demographics, and experiences with our products or services. Providing this additional information is optional.

Anonymous (non-personal) data we collect may include the pages visited on processcontrolservices.com, unique URLs visited within processcontrolservices.com, browser type and IP address. Most anonymous data is collected via cookies or other analysis technologies. processcontrolservices.com web pages use cookies, web beacons and other technologies for data analysis and personalization services.

PCS does not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13 and PCS products and services do not target information to children under 13. If you apply for a job at PCS, you provide your email address, educational and employment background, and job interest data. You may chose to submit your name when registering or remain anonymous. PCS will not use personal data submitted as part of the job application process for any other purpose.

How we use it

PCS uses your information to help us understand your needs and interests and provide you with better services. Specifically, we use your information to help you complete a transaction or order, to communicate with you, to provide service and support, to update you on services and benefits, to personalize promotional offers and to personalize some processcontrolservices.com web sites. Occasionally we may also use your information to contact you for market research regarding PCS products or services. We will give you the opportunity to opt-out of market research and customer surveys. Credit card information is used only for payment processing and fraud prevention, and is not used for other purposes.

Who we share it with

PCS will not sell, rent, or lease your personally identifiable information to others. PCS will not share your personal information with a business partner or any unrelated third party company unless you give your permission. Your permission will be requested when you submit your information.

PCS contracts with third party service providers and suppliers to provide complete products, services and customer solutions described in the section entitled “How we use it”. These suppliers and service providers act on PCS’s behalf and are bound to the PCS Privacy Policy contractually through PCS confidentiality and personal data protection agreements. Suppliers and service providers are required to keep confidential the information received on behalf of PCS and may not use it for any purpose other than to carry out the services they are performing for PCS. These service providers may change or we may contract with additional service providers in order to provide new services. PCS will not share personal information with any other third parties without your permission unless required by law enforcement action or subpoena.

Choice

You can subscribe to receive some product- and service-specific information and PCS marketing communications. PCS communications may include new product information, special offers or possibly an invitation to participate in market research. We give you a choice regarding PCS communications by postal mail, email and telephone.

PCS will not sell, rent or lease your personally identifiable information to unrelated third party companies. Some PCS services are linked with those from other unrelated third party companies, some which offer you the option to share personal data you give with both PCS and the third party. Examples include the ability to register software products from multiple vendors from a single PCS web page, request communications from PCS marketing or solution partners or enable order completion through a reseller. We will not share your personal information with those third party companies unless you make that choice. Local country laws and policies are applied where they differ from those in the U.S.

PCS does not endorse or make any representations about them. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any company before submitting your personal information. The personal data you choose to give to unrelated third parties is covered by their privacy policies, not the PCS Privacy Policy. Some third-party companies may choose to share their personal data with PCS; that sharing is governed by that third-party company’s privacy policy.

Onward Transfer

Personal data given to PCS may be transferred across state and country borders for the purposes of data consolidation, storage and simplified customer information management. The practices which govern this data movement are described in our commitments in the Choice and Security sections of this privacy statement.

Access & Accuracy

PCS strives to keep your personally identifiable information accurate. We have put in place managerial data standards review processes and technological tools to maintain customer data accuracy. We will provide you with access to view and change your information, including making every effort to provide you with online access. To protect your privacy and security, we will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity, such as a password and user ID, before granting access to your data. Certain areas of PCS’s web sites may limit access to specific individuals through the use of passwords and other personal identifiers.

The most effective way to view and change your personal information is to return to the web page where you originally submitted your data and follow the instructions on that web page or send us a message as described in “Contacting us” below. Data access is also available upon request.

Security

PCS is committed to ensuring the security of your information. To prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, maintain data accuracy and ensure the appropriate use of the information, PCS has in place appropriate physical, managerial procedures to safeguard the information we collect.

We use SSL encryption when collecting or transferring sensitive data such as credit card information. Credit card numbers are only used for processing payment and are not used for other purposes. Our efforts to protect credit card fraud help protect your financial data security. As part of real-time payment processing, PCS subscribes to a fraud management service. This service gives you and PCS an extra level of protection to guard against credit card fraud.

To opt-out of PCS marketing contact, please provide your name, email and/or address and relevant information about subscriptions or registrations you may have with PCS. This opt-out will cancel all marketing and support communication and newsletters, including software driver subscriptions.

How PCS uses cookies, web beacons and other analysis technologies on processcontrolservices.com and in third party ads.

Some PCS newsletters delivered on PCS’s behalf by online media companies use the same technologies. PCS does not have access to the data collected by the online media company.
